From having been a ringside amateur boxing physician to having been a basketball game and tournament physician, football and wrestling tournament team physician for Calumet High School, to having been a consultant physician for Lake Central and Griffith High Schools' basketball teams in Northwest Indiana, to having been a substitute team physician at Nazareth Academy and St. Joseph High Schools' football teams in suburban Chicagoland, to having been the Indiana team physician for the 1988 McDonald's/Chicago Tribune Northern Illinois-Northwest Indiana All Star Basketball Classic, Dr. Roumpakis has extensive hands-on experience and expertise in treating all types of sports injuries. Dr. Roumpakis presently serves as examining physician for many Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Pop Warner and United Youth Football Leagues.
